God calls us to act.
He calls us to "look after the poor and ORPHANS in their distress"
He calls us to be EFFECTIVE and make a CHANGE
We need to "be the CHANGE we wish to see in the world." (Ghandi)

Here at Braids of Hope our goal is not only to sell headbands, that is just a very small part of our mission. We are here to spread the word about the MAJOR need for orphans everywhere. Our goal is to change the life of an orphan... one headband at a time.
By purchasing a headband from Braids of Hope, you are supporting the orphans' cause and helping people everywhere spread the word about the 147 million orphans.
We can't do this on our own. 147 million orphans is not a small number. We need everyone to come together and be a group of people willing to STAND UP and say "I will, I will do all I can to make a change in the increasing number of vulnerable children everywhere."
CHARITY OF CHOICE
Our current Charity of Choice is Room for One More. Room for One More is an independent non-profit organization creating lasting change in the lives of orphans around the world. Through adoption awareness and financial support, "Room for One More" unites orphaned children with loving families and also supports the orphans left behind with food, shelter, education and medical care. We give 100% of the proceeds from our braided headbands to Room for One More.

One of a Kind
Our inventory is constantly changing. When we put a headband up for sale, it is the only one of its kind {usually}. If you see a headband you really like, go ahead and purchase it because it may not be up there very long. If you don't see any colors you really like, come back soon because we are always purchasing new fabric and adding new headbands to our store. If you are wanting a certain fabric, just email us and we will add it to our next shipment of fabrics.

Return Policies
Our headbands are made with the best care, but if, for some reason, you are not happy with your headband please email us.
We will give you a full return. You will just be responsible for paying the shipping to return your headband.
We make each one of our headbands separately, so there are no two alike. The pictured headband in the listing you purchase is the one you will receive. They are all one of a kind.

About Braids of Hope:
Braids of Hope was started as an effort to raise funds and awareness for orphans around the world. With so many orphans, 147 million to be exact, there is a lot that needs to be done.
About the Owners:
My name is Shari Stroup and, along with my daughter, Sarah, we started Braids of Hope to support orphanages and create awareness for the great need of orphans everywhere.
I (Shari) am one of the founders of Room for One More. I am a very blessed wife and stay-at-home mom of 6 beautiful children, 4 bio and two Guatemalans.
Together, we are a mother/daughter team of Jesus loving girls with a passion for orphans and adoption.
About the Headbands:
We use 100% cotton designer fabric such as Amy Butler, Melissa Averinos, Heather Bailey, and Michael Miller fabric and 1/2 inch elastic to make our headbands. They are made with tender love and care. We love what we do and hope that you enjoy your headbands as much as we enjoyed making them!

80% of all proceeds goes to the charity of our choice.
